Starting Thursday April 22, we will be offering a seven week online class for your spiritual growth.
The class will start at 7:00pm on Zoom, will include the main church online Worship and Prayer, and then around 7:20 will shift to the class. The class will end close to 8:15pm
As one of the epicenters of the Jesus Movement of the late sixties, Calvary Chapel has grown from a small church in Costa Mesa, to a huge mega-church, and then to thousands of affiliated churches across the world. What makes our movement unique? Calvary Chapel doesn’t claim to be “better” than other Christian churches, but we do have a distinctive “flavor”. This class will explore those distinctives. The book we will be working from was aimed at those seeking to be pastors within the movement, but whether you are called to be a pastor, lead a small group, work in the Children’s ministry, or just want to understand Calvary Chapel better, this class will give you a good idea of just who we are.
We will be utilizing reading assignments during the week with a book (see below), a short online Bible Study from Pastor Rich, and then Pastor Rich will lead the discussion each Thursday on that week’s topic through Zoom. You will need to have Zoom installed on your computer, smart phone, or tablet to participate in the class.
When you register for the class, you will be sent a link to the Zoom class.
You will need to purchase your book ahead of time. The book we will be reading is called “Calvary Chapel Distinctives”, by Pastor Chuck Smith. The cost for the book is about $10 with taxes and shipping.

If you can’t afford a book, no worries. We’ve ordered a few extra copies so everyone can have a book. Email the church office (office@calvaryfullerton.org) or talk to Rich at the in-person 11:00am service and we will get you a copy.
